Services Overview

Did you know

  • Up to 40% of a typical business' monthly electric bill goes toward lighting.
  • Upgrading to lights with longer life expectancy and lower energy use can save you tens of thousands of dollars over time.
  • Installing occupancy sensors on your lighting could save up to 30% of your lighting energy costs

This is why lighting retrofits are one of the only 'green strategies' that can offer a relatively quick payback. Lighting Audits and Engineering Design
Each of our lighting audits is a comprehensive survey of the building’s entire lighting system and includes: individual space description, fixture quantity, fixture type, lamp & ballast type, annual hours of operation, identification of any existing controls, annual wattage consumption, proposed lamp & ballast type, proposed control, proposed annual wattage consumption, and all associated savings calculations. It is from this expansive amount of data that our engineering staff can design the best retrofit strategy.

IEC prides itself on designing projects with exceptional savings, improved quality of light, as well as meeting the specific requirements of the end user. Furthermore we believe in assuring standardization of all installed products that reduce operating/maintenance costs for years to come. The use of high efficiency reflectors coupled with de-lamping during retrofit designs ensure the best possible design without compromising light levels.

Solar Energy
In today's world, more and more businesses are making the move to renewable energy. With rising energy rates and generous government incentives there is no better time to install a solar photovoltaic (PV) array.

  • Government incentives cover up to 50% of the cost
  • Investments in solar have returns up to 40%
  • Reduces Utility electric rate by producing peak power during the day time
  • Improves your facility's image of being environmentally friendly

Innovative Energy Conservation designs and installs solar systems that will prove economic and efficient. A solar PV array can reduce your electric cost and provide decades of energy from the sun. As with our lighting retrofits, IEC will provide you with a complete financial analysis to evaluate the cashflow and ROI of your solar asset.

Professional Installations
Throughout the installation of any lighting project, our teams of installers treat your buildings as if they were our home office. Safety and cleanliness are paramount to any project and are not secondary to progress and/or speed. As with any project which usually involves entering into every space within a building, our installers are continually aware that we encroach upon everyone’s space. We are completely aware that most occupants look upon construction projects as a hassle and we take pride in ourselves knowing that we can perform our work with minimal or no inconvenience to most occupants.
Green from Start to Finish
As with any project that involves the handling of lamps and ballasts that are destined for recycling, IEC maintains the highest level of care possible. We collate and package those materials for direct pickup by EPA approved recycling companies. Our projects include all of the handling and recycling costs as part of the turnkey package that we provide. Upon processing all of the materials, our customers are provided with certificates documenting the quantity of lamps and ballasts that have been disposed of.
